Film photography
One disposable. One walk. The whole roll. Lab scans.
What it is
Film photography is still pictures on actual film you cannot preview. You shoot a roll, you wait for a lab, you get scans. The constraint is the point: 24 or 36 frames, then you are done.
Why people stay
Waiting edits you. You stop taking twelve versions of the same doorway. People stay for the scans of a walk they already took, not for a camera collection. A disposable or a used point-and-shoot is enough to learn whether you like the wait.

Buy a disposable 35mm camera. Shoot the whole roll on one walk. Pay for lab scans. Do not buy a Leica.
